Resellers Imass and Trionics relaunch as Symetri

New merger makes Symetri the largest Autodesk manufacturing solutions reseller in Northern Europe, supporting 32% of Autodesk’s installed manufacturing base across the UK.
The two Autodesk resellers, Imass Design Solutions and Trionics have relaunched as one business under the name Symetri. The newly-formed division is a business unit of Infoterra Ltd, part of EADS Astrium.
Both Imass and Trionics are known for their long-standing experience in the manufacturing CAD sector, covering a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, renewables, nuclear, heavy machinery and automotive components. It is intended that, by combining their expertise, together with their consulting and technical skills, the new organisation will offer an unparalleled service to both new and existing customers.
Kevin Ison, European customer and industry marketing director at Autodesk, was among the first to welcome the new organisation: "Autodesk views the integration of Imass Design Solutions and Trionics as an exciting development in our world-class channel."
